ReadyRosie is a research-based parenting curriculum that is uniquely content-driven, builds on family knowledge, and has been shown to have positive impacts on family behaviors and child outcomes. ReadyRosie harnesses the power of video and mobile technology to empower families and schools to work together to promote school readiness.
We imagine a world where all families with young children are inspired each day to create a better life for their children. We believe that books can be a source for that inspiration and few things are more powerful than a caring adult sharing a book with a child. The right book at the right time can increase a child’s sense of identity, increase their reading competence, and most importantly, it can inspire their inner drive to take responsibility for their own learning. As an organization, we see ourselves leading a movement to create this future by focusing on households with young children and inspiring a community-wide adoption of a daily routine of shared book reading.
